Unless you have elected to remain anonymous through your device and/or platform settings, this information may be collected and used by us automatically if you use the service through your mobile device(s) via any Yalah mobile application, through your mobile's browser or otherwise.

Your information will enable us to provide you with access to the relevant parts of the Website and to supply the services you have requested. It will also enable us to bill you and to contact you where necessary concerning our services. We will also use and analyse the information we collect so that we can administer, support, improve and develop our business, for any other purpose whether statistical or analytical and to help us prevent fraud. Where appropriate, now and in the future, you may have the ability to express your preferences around the use of your data as set out in this privacy policy and this may be exercised though your chosen method of using our services, for example mobile, mobile applications or any representation of our Website.

We may also share your personal data with marketing companies who help us analyse the personal data we collect so that we can administer, support, improve and develop our business and services to you.

In addition, we may disclose personal information about you (i) if we are required to do so to comply with law or to fulfil requirement of international legal standards or legal process, (ii) to law enforcement authorities or other government officials, (iii) when we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to prevent physical harm or financial loss, or in connection with an investigation of suspected or actual fraudulent or illegal activity, (iv) when disclosure of your personal information is otherwise required or permitted by law, or (v) with your consent

We may share or need to transfer to or store data we have received from you with affiliates and subsidiaries of Yalah ("Affiliates") which are located in countries or jurisdictions other than the UAE. The laws governing data protection in these countries or jurisdictions may differ from the laws in the UAE. We will comply with the laws applicable in the UAE and take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that similar and/or comparable standards for data protection are maintained by any Affiliates which are recipients of your information. 4. Security And Data Retention

We take steps to protect your information from unauthorised access and against unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction and damage. We will keep your information for a reasonable period or as long as the law requires.

Where you have chosen a password which allows you to access certain parts of the Website, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We advise you not to share your password with anyone.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to request access to and receive details about the personal information we maintain about you, update and correct inaccuracies in your personal information, and have the personal information deleted, as appropriate. You may request to access, change, or delete your personal information by sending us an email.

 

EMAIL OPT-OUT  

You can opt-out of receiving marketing or newsletter subscription related communications by email by following the instructions within the emails you receive from us or by contacting us through our customer support email address. Please note that your opt-out request is specific to the particular type of email communication you receive from us. For example, if you opt-out from a newsletter subscription, you will no longer receive newsletter email communications, but you may still receive email marketing communications from us. Further, if you opt-out from both newsletter email and marketing email communications, we may still send you transactional or operational emails.Examples of transactional or operational emails include, , password resets, profile updates or other account related messages.  

 

TEXT MESSAGE OPT-OUT  

You can opt-out of receiving text messages from us by replying STOP to the text message you receive from us or making a request through our customer support email address. Please note that this will only opt you out of the specific text messaging program associated with that number.  

PUSH NOTIFICATIONS OPT-OUT  

When you download one of our mobile applications or when you visit our website, we may provide you with the option to receive push notifications. You may opt-out of receiving push notifications by adjusting the settings on your mobile device or browser.

When you use one of our mobile applications, we may ask you to share your location. It is mandatory for our users, while using  our website through desktop or mobile to provide us an access to your geolocation information.

12. National transfers  

We do not transfer the personal information we have about you to countries/states other than the country/state in which the information was originally collected, and your personal information may be processed and stored inside of your country/state of residence. The data protection laws of Dubai shall be applicable and your personal information will be subject to applicable state laws.    


13. Children's privacy  

This website is not intended for or directed to children under the age of thirteen (13) and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of thirteen on the website. If we become aware that a child under the age of thirteen(13) has provided us with personal information, we will delete the information from our records.

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the personal information you provide against accidental, unlawful or unauthorized destruction, loss, alteration, access, disclosure, or use. All credit/debit cards details and personally identifiable information will NOT be stored, sold, shared, rented or leased to any third parties. We use the industry standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) capable encryption technologies which aids in preventing 3rd party seeing your data as it traverses through the internet.
